Summer Vacation :Tavros: The Ocean Can Heal

"Um, yeah!" a troll with bull horns stepped up to you but looked back at a few of his friends, "Do you.. h- have a problem with that?"
"Nope" you couldn't take this guy seriously but ended up being nice.
"Oh, well, thats okay then.. I'm Tavros!" he smiled. "Names, (Name)" you returned the smile and looked around. Your friends deserted you, great. "Um, would you l- like me to show you around.."
"That'd be cool" you follow the troll inside the house and he gives you a tour of the house.
"Tavbro, I have something motherfucking important to tell you!" A troll with goat horns and clown make-up ran over to you two. Tavros laughed, "Ok.. What i- is it Gamz?"
He opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out. Gamzee stared at you for a moment before laughing, "I all up and motherfuckin' forgot" and with that, he walked past us.
"That was my best b- bro, Gamzee"
You laughed a bit, "He seems a bit," you pointed a finger to your head and twirled it around, motioning you think hes crazy, "Off"
Tavros just laughed back, "G- Gamzee can be like that"
You two went around the whole house either meeting trolls or just hanging out, for about three and a half hours. Tavros was SOO easy to talk to, you were amazed!
(TIME SKIP THAT IS NOT IN ANY WAY CREATIVE)
At the moment, you and Tav were sitting on a couch, laughing together, when a sudden flash went off. You blinked and rubbed your eyes. There was an adorable giggle and a troll poped up between you and Tavros. "H- hi, Nepeta" the boy laughed
"Hi, Tafurros! Hi, (Name)"
"Watcha doin?" you smiled. Nepeta held out her camera, "Taking pictures fur my shipping wall! Also, Kanaya told me to tell you that we're going snorkaling! Wanna come!?"
"Sure!"
"Um.. I'll just stay on the beach-"
"Why!?" You an Nepeta stared at him sadly
"My, uhh, legs" he taps them "I can't"
"Stay here!" Nepeta jumps off the back of the couch and scampers off.
You are about to say something when Nepeta pops up again. "He said your legs are waterproof and light, so you can float-ish!" she smiled proudly and ran off again. You jump up and run to find your bathing suit.
You walk out awkwardly and catch up with the whole group. Nepeta was on Equius' shoulders. Vriska was threatening to drown Eridan if he didn't leave her alone. Karkat was being dragged into the water by Terezi and Gamzee. Sollux was talking with Aradia. Kanaya and Feferi were just hanging out with Rose. Dave and John were laughing at Jade who had seaweed in her hair, then they were pushed into tthe water. You ran over to Tavros, who was by himself for some reason. "You ready?" you asked standing beside him
"Huh?" he jumped not seeing you "Oh, um, yeah.. just th- thinking"
"About?"
"..." you sigh
"What are you thinking about?"
"Just.. I'm a little bit s- scared of going into the, uhh, ocean"
"Well, is Rufio scared?" Yes, you knew about his imaginary confidence
"Never! Rufio isn't scared of a- anything!" you put a hand on his shoulder with a wide smile, "Then neither should you!"
"O- Okay.." Feferi went around happily, giving everyone snorkaling masks. Vriska snuck up behind you and Tavros, "Heeeeeeeey, Tavros! Going swimming?"
"Thats our plan!" you answer for him and start to lead the troll towards the water. The spider-troll frowned and jumped in ahead of you two, trying her hardest to splash you both.
Everyone else took that as a que to go in as well. Now, two of the trolls had to be dragged into the water. Nepeta was trying to flee from Equius, STRONG grasp. For the whole trip he hadn't talked to you or showed any emotions- like Dave- but now, he was smiling. Karkat wasn't though, he was cursing at Gamzee and Terezi still.
You felt a hand grip yours and you look at Tavros. Hes a bit jumpy at the moment so you don't say anything, just lead him deeper into the water. Finally you take a deep breathe and swimm under. You never likes the snorkal part of 'snorkaling', you hated the feeling of staying so close to the top so just used the mask.
You let go of Tavros' hand and swam deep down. You tried to catch up with Feferi and Eridan but they were too fast. Swimming a bit deeper, you look for a crab to show Tavros. When you find one you realize you need air and swim upwards at a nutral pace and gasped when you reached the top.
You pulled the mask off your face and swam over to Tavros, "Look!" you hold the crab half in the water and hold it out to him. He smiles but it disappears. You turn your head to see Equius floating behind you. This is why you don't like him! Hes so.. creepy. You drift over more towards Tavros as he starts to speak.
"Nitram, you should return to shore"
"Why?" you ask
"His legs are capable of water but they are still made of metal and he might get tired quicker, that is WHY, lowblood"
"Fine. I'll swim back with ya Tav" you turn and stick your tounge out at Equius before swimming off with your friend.
When you two got back, you both sat on the sand, feet in the water. Tavros was silent except for his quiet sighs. Finally you spoke,
"Tavros?" you turned to look at the sunset
"Yeah?"
"Did you know that the ocean can heal?"
Tavros still quiet for a second until he realized what your talking about, "My legs can't-"
"Maybe I'm not talking about your legs" you snap your head back to him. He tilts his head in confusion.
"I'm talking about," you put a hand on his bare chest, fighting a blush,"your heart"
Tavros brightens up at that, he takes your hand and pulls you to your feet, starting to run to the house. He tells you to wait in the living room and runs off again. You go and wait for him, suddenly, you hear music. It's a sad/ slow dancey kind of song. Tavros comes back again with a stupid grin on his face.
He takes one of your hands and puts the other on your waist. You do the same with a blush spreading across your cheeks. You two start to dance to the music until the song ends. Your about to pull away when he leans down and kisses you on the lips. It's a short and sweet kiss. When he pulls away his face is orange, "M- maybe your right.."
You hug Tavros with a giggle. Of course you were right, you were (First and Last Name) for crying out loud! So yeah, the ocean can heal, even if it's not a visable wound.
